Everyone’s a Leader

I’m a firm believer that not only is it possible for every person to be a leader, it is essential. How can this work? I can just hear someone saying, “But only a few people can be leaders!” or even “too many cooks spoil the broth.”
Observing groups and organizations that work best, I have always seen one thing in common with all of these: the successful organization or group allows, encourages, and accepts leadership from a variety of people. Leadership is something that flows through an effective organization. The person who sees what should be done, and is able to point that out in a way that others recognize their insight and begin to move in the new direction, is a leader.
