Good Communication is Crucial
The dynamics of the workplace have changed dramatically since I was part of the corporate world. Have you read the article about Google being the number one best place to work in America? It blew me away. Google makes going to work look more attractive than staying at home!
Of course, few companies are as worth as much as Google. The average business is lucky to be able to provide insurance benefits for its employees. Christmas bonuses are considered a premo perk of most jobs.

However, HR professionals say that there are more important factors that contribute to job satisfaction, such as relationships with immediate supervisors, management recognition of employee job performance, and communication between employees and senior management
It is crucial to remember that you were once an employee yourself. Maintaining the ability the see things from your employees’ viewpoint is one of the keys to good communication. Doing so can go a long way toward assuring that your employees remain happy, productive and loyal.

I think too many businesses focus on what they can’t do because of their budgets. Many of the things that can make your organization a great place to work don’t cost money. Creating an environment where people feel like their contribution matters and that they are part of a team that does something important is invaluable in creating an environment that people will enjoy.
