Opportunity Doesn’t Knock Only Once

When I opened up my MSN this morning the status of one of my colleagues read: Opportunity doesn’t come to those who wait, they are captured by those who dare to attack.

I have heard the phrase that “Opportunity only come once in a lifetime” too often too irritating. I am a firm believer that as a leader you should have the ability to make opportunity knock at your door as often as possible to create value for yourself and the people who work with you.

The next time you hear that phrase, think again.
