New books on leadership seem to appear almost daily and many of them have useful insights, but Epic Change: How to Lead Change in the Global Age by Timothy R Clark is one of the best I’ve read.
Clark left Oxford to find an academic position in the US, but instead spent eight years as a plant manager before the company closed its doors—a victim of global competition.

Leadership – how genuine is the dialogue

There are a lot of people on the internet musing about leadership.
How much of what we say is truly meaningful, I am not sure.
There are a great many out there, capitalising on our need for personal and professional growth offering development articles, and a consultant for hire.
How much of it is new? How much of it is truly original? It would seem to me not that much.
I am on the look out for new ways of thinking about leadership.
