As was pointed out in the tv show “Boston Legal” last night, you can’t argue an insanity defense because your lawyer’s insane. Though if I were very, very guilty, and being tried in AR, she might come in handy.
I especially like that she’s from Hot Springs. Better stay away from those vapors.
I would also like to express my disappointment that our liberal media let this letter somehow slip through… unless, of course, they did so just to discredit the opposition by printing their actual utterances.

I am frequently amazed at how many people actually think that DST really does result in an extra hour of daylight!
Sean, maybe it’ll get picked up here and zoom round the globe—or at least the blogsphere.
Astroprof, Amazed. Really? You, of all people, should be aware of the lack of basic science in American education.
Your site is beyond me, but your pictures are magnificent and truly awesome!
ohh time changing now I hope everyone will help stop this..;)
great shot. Happy WW!
I am speechless, thanks for sharing.
Mine is up at 4Seasonsofmylife. Hope you can visit me too. Have a great WW.
Speechless was my initial reaction, too. Secondary reaction—I was glad that I hadn’t been the one to pay for her “education.”
Yes, Miki, I am well aware of how horrible science education is in this country. I have college students who come into my class not sure whether the Earth revolves around the Sun or the Sun revolves around the Earth. But, it still seems to give me pause to think about just how we’ve come to such a sad state of education.
Oh, and thanks for looking at my site!
PLEASE tell me you’re joking about the Sun/Earth thing. I knew things were bad, but not THAT bad.
Miki- thanks for the laugh. Yup, that’s it- damn daylight savings time!
